As a coordinator of the American Bouvier Rescue League, I have sometimes encountered rescue dogs who are in difficult situations, or are located in areas far from the home and adopters that would be a perfect "forever home." The adopters of our Rescues may not be in a position to drive long distances to adopt their new family members, but once approved for an adoption, may choose a transport company to unite them with their new family member. One Bouvier des Flandres rescue dog comes to mind, Honey, who was located many States away from her adoptive family and in a less than ideal situation. Honey's previously stressful life didn't make her the most friendly dog to strangers and this gave us some concern about her transport. Mike Avery transported Honey for her new adopters in Maryland all the way from Missouri. Mike kept us all informed of progress during the trip with frequent reassuring updates.   A short time into the trip, this difficult and frightened dog identified Mike himself as a safe port in her tempestuous life and she quickly bonded to him. She arrived safe and sound and in wonderful shape at her destination and actually, with a new, more favorable outlook on life in general. Mike was a good pick as a transporter for this girl and plan to recommend him in future for potential adopters who require transport services.

Hi Mike,

Can't tell you how many times I've thought about you and how great you were in getting Honey, formerly known as Abigail, from Missouri to Deborah and Bob in Columbus, North Carolina.

From the minute I communicated with you via phone and email, I know that Honey was in good hands. She was so traumatized from the way she was treated by her previous owners and unbeknownst to us, she also had a serious infection as a result of her spaying surgery.

She must have sensed that you were a good person and that no harm would come to her from you. Anyone who can connect with an animal the way you did with Honey is a special person indeed.

I would recommend your animal transport to anyone without hesitation. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking care of Honey on her journey to us. My husband and I drove from Maryland to Columbus to bring her home. My husband is now her BFF and I think that the time she spent with you,Deborah and Bob from ABRL gave her the realization that people were good.

I used Pet Express to transport my 2 cats a distance of a little over 700 miles. The Pet Express driver (Mike) was a very personable fellow and it was easy to see that he is a pet lover. I quickly saw that Nigel and Harley (my 2 cats) were comfortable with him too. They arrived just fine - clean and at ease. I would sure use Pet Express again and recommend them to my friends.

I recently moved from Seattle, WA to Florence, KY and didn't want to make the cross country trip with a 1 year old and a dog, so I decided to utilize Pet Express Transport Services. Let me just say.... that was a great decision! PETS took all the stress of transporting my dog off of me so I could focus more on the move itself, which was hard with a 1 year old so I could only imagine how difficult it would have been with an animal as well. The driver was very professional and reassured me that I could remain in contact with him the whole trip so I could check on my precious puppy Camella! They arrived on time and Camella was happy as can be to see us. She's my sons best friend and a very loved family member so it was extremely important that she be well taken care of and I know that was the case during her trip with Pet Express Transport Services.

I rescued Sadie May from an SPCA shelter in Pennsylvania, about 8 hours from my home. I had discovered her on Petfinder.com and was anxious to complete the adoption and bring her home as quickly as possible. Due to a chronic illness, however, I couldn't travel to the shelter and transport her myself. Thanks to Mike, everything worked out quickly and without any problems at all. He drove all the way there and back in one day. While he was en route, he contacted me to let me know exactly where he was and how Sadie was tolerating her long trip. He delivered her to me safely and in perfect condition.

People who are pet lovers want only the best for their precious dogs and cats who really are family members. Our 12 year old Sheltie, "Mozart" was not in the best of health when we had to return to New Jersey from Florida quickly. Having our own health issues made driving 1200 miles more than challenging so we began searching for a service that could provide transportation for Mozart. There were none that would accommodate our needs until we met Mike Avery.  He assured us there would be only one passenger, Mozart, who rested regally on the journey home while my husband and I flew. Mike was professional and reassured us by giving us updates on his progress as he traveled up the coast.

We were so impressed with his care of Mozart that we contacted him to transport our 2 Maine Coon cats and our vehicle packed with luggage back to Florida when we returned the following year. We were spared the trauma of medicating the pets, the stress of dragging them through the airport, who by the way are 14 lbs each plus the cases so its not the lightest load to carry through an airport on top of your personal baggage. We didnt have to expose our pets to the hassle of security, which can be very overwhelming considering the process consists of taking off shoes and other belongings, dealing with the conveyor belt and being scanned with a wand. This process would have been much more difficult if our pets would have been with us due to security separating them from us in order to examine their cages. By choosing to utilize Mike's service it was stress free traveling for all us. Our pets arrived at their destination happy and healthy.

Mike is dedicated to his pet passengers and to providing the best possible service required to his customers. We would recommend Pet Express Transport Services without hesitation.  On a personal note Mike is really a great guy, we have had a chance to have dinner and his company was a pleasure. A wonderful stress free experience for all. Thank you Mike!!     Hi my name is Paula Kirkwood and I lived in Orange Tx and my husbands job had our family relocate to West Virginia. That was all well and good but I have 7 dogs and they are like my children I was flipping out! I had no idea how I was going to get them to West Virginia.Then a friend of mine told me about Pet Express Transport Service so I gave them a call. I spoke with Mike Avery and told him that I had 7 dogs he he immediately put me at ease and explained that all of my guy's would not be a problem at all. I was impressed with how comfortable he made me feel so I agreed to have him transport them for us and wow what a life savor he was! He got them to West Virginia safe and sound and they were all in great condition happy and healthy!! I just want to give a big thank to Pet Express Transport Services for taking such good care of my babies :) you have been a life savor. I hired Mike to transport my Doberman, Frieda, from Bellingham Washington to Rancho Mirage California last fall. He picked her up at our house on a Wednesday afternoon and delivered her on Friday. Frieda arrived happy, healthy and safe. I was most amazed that my girl took to Mike she really liked mike alot she dose not normally care for men. He did a great job and I will be having him transport Frieda again. It is such a good way for her to travel.

    When my husband and I decided to move home to Chicago from San Francisco, one of our biggest logistical problems was how to get our 1 1/2 year old lab there. We also needed to transport a vehicle, and with a newborn, there were lots of things we needed right away and could not wait a couple of weeks to receive when all of our belongings arrived.
Mike Avery was a lifesaver! We arranged for him to drive our beloved dog Marley in our car from San francisco to Chicago. When my husband picked him up from the airport, he asked if Mike would be willing to trailer some of our things and Mike agreed readily. This flexibility and willingness to help, which included loading and unloading the trailer efficiently, was indispensable during the stressful time of the move.
Mike had an extra challenge on the trip- my poor dog was sick! Mike dealt with my dog's health and the messes in the car intelligently, kindly and quickly. I could not give a stronger recommendation for Mike's services and will definitely use him again.

Hi,

My name is Missy I and I’d like to tell you about Mike! I used to live in Albuquerque New Mexico but my Mom and Dad had to go into a retirement community because of their health. They couldn’t take me with them but they absolutely refused to move until I had the perfect home. When my Aunt and Uncle in Louisville found out I needed a new home they got so excited. They really, really wanted me,!!!! The only problem was that Louisville was really far away. My Mom and Dad in Albuquerque didn’t want me to go on a plane and deal with all the trauma of a plane ride. Lucky for me they found Mike. Mike said he would take me to my new home in a van. Cool, I love car rides!

Mike came all the way to Albuquerque to get me. I liked Mike right away and he really took the time to get to know me before we had to leave. On the trip to Louisville, Mike made me feel so special. He gave me lots of love and treats! WOW! What a nice guy! When he delivered me to my new family, I was sad to see him go, but I was soon smothered in kisses and love. My new family thought the time I spent with Mike really helped me transition to my new home. They said that Mike is the only guy they’d ever trust to transport any of their pets……….he’s the best!

I hired Mike to transport my two cats (Honey and Tiger) and my car over 1,000 miles from southern California to northern Oregon. He picked up my cats and my car, and I flew ahead to set up my new apartment for the cats' arrival. I really appreciated that my cats and car were delivered in good condition, since my previous attempts to transport my cats in my car resulted in them freaking out and being panicked for hours after. When Mike arrived with my cats, they were relaxed and happy, which is nothing short of a miracle. I would recommend this service to anyone, and especially want to emphasize how convenient it was for Mike to deliver my car for me as well, as it saved me quite a bit of money transporting my vehicle separately.

Don't buy from a pet store, don't breed as a hobby entertainment, and PLEASE spay and neuter.
